The Acapulco chair, synonymous with laid back, resort-style living, represents the best of modern Mexican design. We worked with talented young designers in the Coyoacan neighborhood of Mexico City to give this classic an update.

Not only did we add more lounge appeal with a wider seat and more reclined angle, but we also introduced leather sourced from Mexico’s leather capital, Leon. The leather, instead of the classic beachside plastic, elevates the design to bring this patio staple indoors.

Each one takes several days to weave, all made exclusively in a fair trade environment. Handcrafted in small batches, every chair comes with a hand-numbered tag.
