The Women of Solor Island

Meticulously woven with locally-sourced palmyra leaves, a material known for its strength and durability, this small storage basket makes the perfect home for houseplants, books, or other odds and ends.

Featuring a complex design reserved for only the most experienced basket weavers, each one takes over two days to complete. All made start-to-finish by a fair trade cooperative on the island of Flores, Indonesia.
