Handcrafted with Mexican palm leaves and topped with luxe leather handles, these storage baskets have mastered the art of stashing clutter. Designed in two roomy sizes, this duo is perfect for storing blankets, books, towels, toys – pretty much anything and everything. Style as a set of two to make a statement that’s both beautiful and extremely useful.
Each basket takes about three days to complete. All made start-to-finish by a fair trade cooperative in Guerrero, Mexico.

The perfect basket!!
I have purchased these in multiples. They are light weight, yet sturdy. I am currently using them as laundry baskets, toy baskets, blanket storage, one is even being used as a planter. Love the color and the look of these stylish baskets.
Love the Mercado
I purchased one of these baskets—the large—to serve as a dry planter for a good size fiddle leaf fern in my bedroom. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The Mercado basket is well-made, elegant and stylish. It would be equally useful as a bin to store blankets and pillows or extra towels or even kids' toys.
